Create Post Page Template in WordPress

A while back I wrote an article on How to Create Custom Page Template ? in the same way I’m sharing a tutorial or a way how you can create post page templates. People use it for different uses like lets say a featured post, news, contests or just anything.

We can use our already made Page Templates for posts too; WordPress uses the same page templates. All we need is a box on ‘Add New Post’ page so that we can select our desired Post Page Template. Yes, thats it. For this We don’t have anything much to do.

Just install this Templates for Posts Plugin, written by Nikolay Bachiyski. It adds a Post Template drop down menu on post page. Write your content, select your desired template, hit Publish. That’s it !
