Like you know everyone is talkin’ about Google Wave these days.. Twitter seem to be rushed with people asking and spamming about Google Waves. When It comes to WordPress, I thought there should be something/someway to integrate GoogleWave into WordPress. And guess what, I found a way or should say a simple plugin that integrates Google Wave onto your WordPress Blog.
All you got to do is enter your wave id as [ wave id="YOURWAVEID" ] in the post and it’ll show that selected wave of yours. You can use it to show your mail, conversation, including Google Maps and whatever that is included in the Wave. Plus, you can even reply from the Blog itself.
Plugin:
The Plugin which is used to integrate Google Wave to WordPress is “Wavr” [Plugin Page]
How to get Wave ID:
- Open your Google Wave account. http://wave.google.com/
- Add an embed bot into your contacts “embeddy@appspot.com”
- Now, whenever you click a wave in your Waves Panel and when It loads at the right sider.
- The address bar gets updates with a code, starting from “googlewave.com!xxxxxxxx”.
- This is actually the ID of your wave. Please make sure you wait 5-8 seconds every time to open a wave for the address bar to update.
- For furthermore any questions, you can always leave a comment !
Demo:
You must be signed in to GoogleWave for demo to work. Please don’t use any extra buttons other than just replying if you want !

Google Wave, though still in preview mode, has great potential for real-time reporting and writing online. You can now post waves on your blog and share them with your readers when blogging about it.
